Sometimes you want to find out hidden details about your EV, like battery state of health (SoH), battery temperature, or cell voltages, but you aren’t tech-inclined or you don’t want to have your cellphone stuck to your dash. The EVOBD2 adapter is a Plug&Play device that was invented by a local to me Québécois, and it can tell you a lot about your EV without you needing to know anything more than plugging in an OBD2 Bluetooth adapter and a USB cable! Is the Honda Prologue just a Chevrolet Blazer EV in disguise? The Prologue is made by GM for Honda, but it is different than the Blazer EV in many ways. In the winter electric vehicles (EVs) have a problem with snow and ice accumulating in the wiper area at the base of the windshield because there is no gas engine throwing out a ton of waste energy in the form of heat. There are lots of windscreen covers to help solve the issue for EVs, but not all are made equal and there are different sizes. What type offers better coverage, which is big enough, what are the differences? I bought 4 different covers to compare to the one I bought in 2019 for the Niro EV, and I test them all on the Kia EV6. There is one standout winner, one very good runner up, and two pretty sad losers. It took Nissan 14 years to produce a second-generation electric vehicle, the Nissan Ariya electric SUV, but does it stand out as compared to the competition? Yes, and no.
