ELIGIBILITY
Open to legal residents of Canada (including Québec) and the continental United States (the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia) who are 18 years of age or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is higher, at time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of the Sponsor and their immediate family/household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited.​

PROMOTION PERIOD
Starts October 10, 2025 at 6:00 PM Eastern Time (22:00:00 UTC) and ends November 10, 2025 at 6:00 PM Eastern Time (23:00:00 UTC). Entries submitted before or after the Promotion Period are not eligible.

HOW TO ENTER (NO PURCHASE NECESSARY)
During the Promotion Period, navigate to the YouTube video located at https://youtu.be/ZMZgrfzWlJs?si=MPOP2AlCsiftJhUF on EV-olution's YouTube channel and/or website (www.ev-olution.ca) and post a comment that:
(i) contains the correct answer to the question stated in the video: “What makes André a happy André?”, and
(ii) states either “Kia EV6” or “Hyundai Ioniq 5” to indicate which GeckoWiper model you prefer.
Limit one (1) entry per person. Multiple comments by the same person will be treated as a single entry; automated or bulk submissions are void. Normal internet access and device usage charges may apply.
Your comment must indicate exactly one (1) model. Comments listing both models are invalid. Multiple comments from the same person will be treated as a single entry for the first valid model stated.
PRIZES / APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV)
Two (2) prizes total: one (1) GeckoWiper compatible with Kia EV6 and one (1) GeckoWiper compatible with Hyundai Ioniq 5. ARV: CAD $700 per prize; total ARV CAD $1,400. Prizes are non-transferable; no cash equivalent. EV-olution may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

SELECTION OF WINNERS & ODDS
At or about November 10, 2025 after 6:00 PM ET, EV-olution will select one (1) potential winner from each model-specific pool (Kia EV6 pool and Hyundai Ioniq 5 pool) from among all eligible entries received for that pool. Selection uses a deterministic random method: eligible, deduplicated entries are ranked by the SHA-256 hash value of a publicly disclosed seed concatenated with the entry’s unique ID; the entry with the smallest hash in each pool is the potential winner. Alternates may be identified using the next lowest hashes. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received for each pool.

Limit one (1) prize per person/household. If the same individual is selected in both pools, they will be awarded the prize from the pool in which they were first selected, and an alternate will be selected in the other pool. EV-olution will verify potential duplicate winners across pools prior to confirmation.
PUBLIC SEED & TRANSPARENCY
Before the drawing, EV-olution will publish a public seed string (for example, “GeckoWiper|2025-10-10T22:00Z|AndresHappy|Pool:KIA/Pool:HYUNDAI”) in a YouTube Community post or in the video description. Upon request, EV-olution will provide (i) the final entries file used for each pool (with personal data redacted where required), (ii) the SHA-256 hash of that file, and (iii) the script/method description sufficient for independent verification.

WINNER NOTIFICATION & VERIFICATION
EV-olution will attempt to contact potential winners by replying to their YouTube comment and/or by email if provided. Potential winners must respond within seventy-two (72) hours. To prevent impersonation, EV-olution may require a reply from the same YouTube account and placement of a temporary verification code on the account’s “About” page, and/or an email one-time code handshake. EV-olution may require proof of age and residency. Canadian residents must correctly answer the following mathematical skill-testing question, without assistance, to be confirmed as winners: “2×5+5−2”. If a potential winner is ineligible, fails to respond in time, fails the skill-testing question, or declines the prize, EV-olution may disqualify and select an alternate from the applicable pool.

TAXES
Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or fees associated with acceptance and use of the prize, based on the ARV stated above. EV-olution will provide any required tax forms upon request (e.g., Form W-9/W-8BEN for U.S. tax purposes).

GENERAL CONDITIONS
By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of EV-olution, which are final. EV-olution reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or acts in violation of these Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. EV-olution is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, invalid, or incomplete entries, or for any technical errors. If the promotion is impaired in any way for any reason, EV-olution may, in its sole discretion, suspend, modify, or terminate the promotion and, if feasible, select winners from the eligible entries received up to the time of impairment. EV-olution will enforce the “one prize per person/household” rule and may disqualify duplicate or conflicting entries.

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, YouTube. By entering, you release YouTube from any responsibility related to this promotion. You must comply with YouTube’s Community Guidelines and contest policies.

PRIVACY
Personal data collected from entrants will be used only to administer the promotion, contact potential winners, verify eligibility, fulfill prizes, and as otherwise described in EV-olution’s Privacy Notice at https://www.ev-olution.ca/privacy-policy. Data will be retained only as long as reasonably necessary to administer the promotion and fulfill legal obligations, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymized. Entrants may request access or deletion as permitted by law.

GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES
Subject to applicable law, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Rules or the rights and obligations of participants and EV-olution shall be governed by the laws of the participant’s province/state of residence and the federal laws of the participant’s country of residence, without giving effect to any conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved individually, without resort to class actions, and only in the courts having jurisdiction where the participant resides, unless otherwise required by law.

WINNER LIST
Winner channel handles (and, if consented, names) will be announced via a YouTube Community post within seven (7) days after verification. To request the winner list, contact EV-olution at info@ev-olution.ca within sixty (60) days after the Promotion Period ends.
